18 of 40 European Markets Saw Coffee Shop Declines Due to COVID-19, Report StatesDaily Coffee News by Roast Magazine


Nearly half of the 40 European countries identified in the latest Allegra World Coffee Portal market report saw a decline in the number of coffee shops over the past year due to COVID-19. The year also saw dramatic slumps in coffee shop sales throughout Europe, by about 30%.

Recipe: Peach Cobbler and Peach Cobbler Coffee Cake


We might be rushing summer a little bit, but peach season is almost here so let’s get ready with two delicious recipes!


Peach Cobbler

  • 4 cups peaches, sliced 
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. kosher salt


  • 6 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon 
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. kosher salt
  • 3/4 cup milk

Add the sliced peaches, sugar and salt to a saucepan and stir to combine.
