Cinnamon Roll Casserole Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cans of refrigerated cinnamon rolls
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp  of ground cinnamon

For the icing

  • 1 cup of powdered sugar
  • 2-5 tbsp of milk
  • ½ tsp of vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
  • Open the cans of refrigerated cinnamon rolls and set aside the icing.
  • Cut each cinnamon roll into quarters.

Assemble

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon.
  • Add the cinnamon roll pieces to the bowl and gently toss until they are coated in the egg mixture.
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  • Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is golden brown and set in the centre.

Prepare the icing

  • While the casserole is baking, prepare the icing by whisking together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a small bowl.

Serve and enjoy

  • Once the casserole is done baking, remove it from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
  • Drizzle the icing over the top of the casserole.
  • Slice into squares and serve warm.
