Simple Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 package butter pecan, chocolate chip, chocolate fudge, devil’s food, German, chocolate or yellow cake mix
  • ½ cup butter or margarine
  • 1 tsp  vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup  package semisweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  •  In a large mixing bowl, combine half of the dry cake mix, butter, vanilla, and eggs and beat until smooth
  • Incorporate the remaining cake mix, almonds, and chocolate chips.
  • Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet, about 2 inches apart. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are firm
  • Allow to cool for 1 minute before transferring to a wire rack.
