Chocolate Chip Cookies
- 1 package butter pecan, chocolate chip, chocolate fudge, devil’s food, German, chocolate or yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine — softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
- 1 package of semisweet chocolate chips
Direction
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Mix half of the dry cake mix, butter, vanilla, and eggs in a large mixing bowl and beat until smooth.
Incorporate the remaining cake mix, almonds, and chocolate chips.
Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet, about 2 inches apart.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are firm (centres will be soft).
Allow cooling for 1 minute before transferring to a wire rack.
